Congrats to Mountain View High School‘s, Luke Hennebaul, for being the Gwinnett Sports Commission player of the week!

Luke is a junior and currently a midfielder on the Bears’ lacrosse team. In a recent week, he had a total of 6 goals and 1 assist after converting from defense to short stick middie earlier in the season. He’s an all-around great athlete, as lacrosse is just one of the many sports he participates in during the school year. He also plays football as a quarterback for the Bears and wrestles in the 182# class, where he most recently took third at sectionals.

Coach Branche had this to say about Luke. “Luke has been an instrumental part to our success this year. He’s a great young man, a huge leader on and off the field, and selflessly does what the team needs in order to win.”

Luke boasts a 3.7 GPA and looks to continue his athletic and academic career in college where he is looking at a wide range of schools.

Luke, we’re so proud of you and wish you the best as you finish out the lacrosse season and begin training for your three-sport senior year.
