Maxwell Leadership Pro-Am pairs amateurs with legends of the game
GWINNETT – METRO ATLANTA, January 17, 2017 –The Mitsubishi Electric Classic, a premier event on the PGA TOUR Champions, has announced that The John Maxwell Company is the new title sponsor of its annual pro-am tournament through 2020. Now known as the Maxwell Leadership Pro-Am, the event will span two days and offers a chance for participants to play a round of golf with a PGA TOUR Champions legend competing at TPC Sugarloaf during tournament week.
This year’s Maxwell Leadership Pro-Am will be held on April 12-13 at TPC Sugarloaf, while the Mitsubishi Electric Classic official rounds will take place April 14-16 and televised live on the Golf Channel.

The cost of playing in the Maxwell Leadership Pro-Am is $3,000 for one person and $11,000 for a foursome on either Wednesday or Thursday. Participants receive a variety of tickets for the week, invitations to the Tuesday evening Northside Hospital Kickoff Party, a gift package featuring Ralph Lauren, Swiss Army, Titleist, and FootJoy, as well as the “money-can’t-buy” experience of playing with a PGA TOUR Champions legend.

The Mitsubishi Electric Classic is an official event on the PGA TOUR Champions scheduled for April 10-16, 2017. This 54-hole stroke play golf tournament features 78 PGA TOUR Champions professionals competing for a $1.8 million purse at the prestigious TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, Georgia.
