LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Strong performances in the circle and on the mound earned a pair of Georgia Gwinnett College players recognition as the Association of Independent Institutions’ Softball and Baseball Pitcher of the Week awards.
Senior Taylor Hansis tossed her second career no-hitter in a five-inning victory against Talladega College (Ala.) last Saturday. She won both of her starts for last week, including a road victory at No. 12 Vanguard University (Calif.) during GGC’s road trip to California.
