Congrats to Brookwood High School‘s, Jacob Walker, for being the Gwinnett Sports Commission player of the week!
Jacob is a senior captain on the Broncos’ lacrosse team. “He is the leading force on the attack unit and leaves everything on the field,” said Coach Ulloa. Recently he scored 6 goals and 2 assists in a game against Peachtree Ridge. Jacob has a long list of lacrosse accomplishments to include being selected to play on the Brine All-American National Lacrosse team, representing Georgia as a middle attack in 2017.
Outside of lacrosse, Jacob is a 1st Sergeant in MCJROTC, is a marksman in rifle, boasts a 3.4 GPA, and is an active member of Mount Zion Baptist Church of Snellville. Jacob was offered an academic and athletic scholarship to four different colleges and has committed to Piedmont College.
