Congrats to Archer High School’s, James Cragin, for being the Gwinnett Sports Commission player of the week!

As a member of the track and field team, this past week at the Grayson Time Trials James recorded the fastest time in both the 1600 (coming in at 4:23) and the 800 (with a 1.59). Coach McCartney said, “at this point of the season these times are the fastest in the state.” He was also a senior captain on the Tigers’ cross country team this past fall.

James, congratulations on your commitment to run cross country and track for Georgia Tech next year. We look forward to watching you continue on with your athletic and academic accomplishments locally.
