Georgia Gwinnett College Women’s Soccer Gains NAIA Top-25 Ranking for First Time in Program History

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia Gwinnett College women’s soccer team’s strong play in recent weeks has earned the program its first ranking in the NAIA Top 25 poll, the organization announced Tuesday evening.

The Grizzlies stand No. 24 in this week’s poll, selected in a vote of a nationwide panel of coaches.

GGC is 4-3-1 on the season and unbeaten over its last five matches. The team earned a victory at No. 23-ranked Cumberland University (Tenn.) last Tuesday.

Georgia Gwinnett College begins a six-match road swing when it faces Faulkner University Friday, Sept. 29, in Montgomery, Ala., starting at 6 p.m.
