LAWRENCEVILLE, GA – The Gwinnett Braves released today their schedule of home and road games for 2018, the 10th anniversary season of Triple-A International League baseball in Gwinnett County. The G-Braves, who will play under a new, yet-to-be-announced team name beginning next year, will open the season on Friday, April 6 at Norfolk. The home opener at Coolray Field is set for Thursday, April 12 at 7:05 p.m. vs. Rochester.

Gwinnett, along with the rest of the 14-team International League, will play a 140-game schedule in 2018, reduced by two games from the league’s 142-game slate in 2017.
Standard home game times are unchanged from 2017. Typical Monday-Friday games will start at 7:05 p.m., Saturday games will start at 6:05 p.m. and Sunday games will start at 1:05 p.m. Specialty times for Education Days, Daycare Days and other promotional dates will be released at a later date.
Gwinnett will be home for 11 Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in 2017. The club will host holiday games on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 13), Memorial Day (Monday, May 28), Independence Day (Wednesday, July 4) and Labor Day (Monday, September 3).
Gwinnett will play 11 homestands in all, including April 12-18 vs. Rochester and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, April 27-29 vs. Durham, May 7-13 vs. Charlotte and Norfolk, May 21-28 vs. Durham and Columbus, June 5-10 vs. Lehigh Valley and Syracuse, June 19-24 vs. Toledo and Columbus, July 4-8 vs. Norfolk and Charlotte, July 16-22 vs. Indianapolis and Pawtucket, July 30-August 5 vs. Durham and Norfolk, August 13-19 vs. Louisville and Buffalo, and August 28-September 3 vs. Norfolk and Charlotte.
The club’s 11 road trips include April 6-11 at Norfolk and Durham, April 20-25 at Pawtucket and Rochester, April 30-May 6 at Charlotte and Indianapolis, May 15-20 at Columbus and Toledo, May 29-June 3 at Indianapolis and Louisville, June 11-17 at Norfolk and Durham, June 25-July 3 at Norfolk, Charlotte and Durham, July 12-15 at Norfolk, July 24-29 at Lehigh Valley and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, August 7-12 at Buffalo and Syracuse, and August 21-27 at Durham and Charlotte.
