Congrats to Grayson High School‘s, Brianna Tello, for being the Gwinnett Sports Commission player of the week!
Brianna is the senior goalkeeper for the Lady Rams team. She recently played lights out during the semi-final game against South Forsyth, during the GHSA soccer playoffs. Coach Bullock said, “She had solid hands, showed no fear, and preserved the shutout. Without her effort, we would not be onto the state championship game.”
Brianna balances her love of soccer and her academics well. She currently has a 3.98 GPA and is in the National Honor Society. She is also active in the Beta Club, Principal Leadership Team, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Outside of school, she is also involved in her church, where she leads a small group and participates in week-long mission trips over the summer. She works as a soccer referee and helps coach a youth soccer team as well.
Brianna, we wish you the best at Notre Dame next year. Good luck to you and the team, as you take on Lambert for the GHSA State Soccer Championship tomorrow!
