Congrats to Parkview‘s, Joey DeMasi, for being the Gwinnett Sports Commission player of the week!
Joey, a senior outfielder for the Panther, recently went for 6 for 10, with 3 singles, 1 triple, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs, and 7 runs scored! Coach Brown had this to say about Joey to the Gwinnett Daily Post, “Joey has worked very hard all four years at Parkview. He has matured into a great player and leader for us. We are very excited for Joey to get player of the week. He is very deserving and we hope that his hot start continues for him through his senior year. He is a great kid.”
Joey volunteers with the Miracle League, takes many honors level courses at Parkview, and has been offered a baseball scholarship from the University of North Georgia.
We’re excited to see how you finish your senior year, Joey and wish you the very best at UNG next year.
