Congrats to North Gwinnett High School‘s, Keison Forte, for being the Gwinnett Sports Commission player of the week!
Keison is a senior, wrestler for the Bulldogs, who just won the State Championship in the 182# weight class. Keison’s victory was a hard fought one, as he won in overtime. He improved his 6th finish overall last year to this year’s champion. Coach McKee says, “Keison’s work ethic and approach to wrestling has been inspiring to others on the team. He has been a role model to everyone around him.”
In addition to wrestling, Keison has been an active member of JROTC program at North and is an outside linebacker-free safety for the football team. He is a B student and wants to pursue a degree in nursing next year in college.
