Congrats to North Gwinnett‘s, Jake Stewart, for being the Gwinnett Sports Commission player of the week!

Jake is a senior linebacker on the Bulldogs football team and a member of the team’s leadership counsel.  In the region championship game, he went for 7 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 2 assists, 1 fumble recovery, and 3 hurries to clinch the title.

When away from the field he likes to volunteer and can be found at summer camp with Happy Feat or participating in fun runs with the Friends U Need Club.

Jake has gained a lot of interest and attention from Ivy League schools to FCS to 1A schools but is undecided where he will go next year. Keep an eye out for where he ends up as it is sure to be exciting.

Jake, we know your teammates, coaches, and parents are so very proud of you. Keep up the great work.
