LAWRENCEVILLE, GA – The Gwinnett Braves announced the schedule and home game times for the 2017 season. The ninth campaign at Coolray Field begins on Thursday, April 6 as the G-Braves host the Durham Bulls for a 7:05 p.m. game.

Gwinnett, along with the rest of the 14-team International League, will play a 142-game schedule in 2017, reduced by two games from the league’s previous 144-game slate.

Two new game times will be in place for 2017, as all Saturday home games now begin at 6:05 p.m. (changed from 7:05 p.m. in 2016) and all Sunday home games now begin at 1:05 p.m. (changed from 2:05 p.m. in 2016). Monday-Friday night home games will remain 7:05 p.m. starts.

Exceptions to the regular start times include 10:35 a.m. games on May 4 and 11 (Education Days), 12:05 p.m. games on April 20, May 25, June 7 (Daycare Day #1) and July 6 (Daycare Day #2), and 1:05 p.m. games on May 29 and September 4.

The G-Braves will be home for 11 Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in 2017, including Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 14. The club will also host games on Memorial Day (Monday, May 29), Independence Day (Tuesday, July 4) and Labor Day (Monday, September 4).

Gwinnett will play 13 homestands in all, including April 6-9 vs. Durham, April 18-23 vs. Rochester and Pawtucket, May 2-4 vs. Durham, May 8-14 vs. Toledo and Columbus, May 23-29 vs. Buffalo and Syracuse, June 5-11 vs. Norfolk and Charlotte, June 19-25 vs. Charlotte and Norfolk, July 4-9 vs. Norfolk and Indianapolis, July 17-23 vs. Lehigh Valley and Indianapolis, July 31- August 2 vs. Norfolk, August 7-13 vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Louisville, August 25-27 vs. Charlotte and September 1-4 vs. Durham.

The G-Braves will also make 12 road trips, including April 10-16 at Norfolk and Durham, April 25-30 at Rochester and Pawtucket, May 5-7 at Charlotte, May 15-21 at Norfolk and Durham, May 30-June 4 at Louisville and Indianapolis, June 13-18 at Toledo and Columbus, June 26-July 3 at Toledo and Charlotte, July 13-16 at Charlotte, July 24-30 at Lehigh Valley and Syracuse, August 4-6 at Charlotte, August 15-24 at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Buffalo and Durham, and August 28-31 at Norfolk.
